Questions, answered.

Set-up, sizing, latex and returns.

Which band should I buy?

Pick by your fitness level and your goal, strength or endurance. Light is about 5–14 lb and Medium about 8–24 lb. Answer two questions on the home page and we point you to one.

How do I attach it?

The set comes with a loop of about 6 in (15 cm). Put it on a door handle, or pass it around a radiator, and run the cords through it. It is a loop, not a hook, and it does not go over the top of a door. Choose a solid anchor, make sure a radiator is off and cold, and check the cord and the loop for wear before every use.

How many sets and repetitions?

The guide suggests 3 sets of 10 to 15 repetitions per arm for each exercise. With the Medium (green) cord, 3 sets of 10 per arm is already plenty. Get the free guide.

Do the paddles fit my hand?

They are palm-sized: about 5.9 in (15 cm) long and 5.1 in (13 cm) wide at the base, tapering toward the fingers. They are not full-size pool paddles.

Does it contain latex?

Yes. The cord is made of natural latex. If you have a latex allergy, do not use it.

What is in the bag?

A stretch cord with two handle straps, two hand paddles, a mesh storage bag and an exercise guide.

Is the guide easy to read?

The free Dryland Swim Workout Guide is set in large print, with a drawing for each of six exercises.
